Count to Ten

“Count to Ten, Reach for the Stars” 1991. Rocket is 23 ft tall, 5 ft. in diameter. Fabricated from aluminum, copper, and brass. The sculpture can be found in Briggs Chaney High School, Montgomery Country, Maryland. This is a science-dedicated high school. Also contains four panels on the History of Mathematics. Starts with counting on ones’ fingers and follows the evolution of the discipline up to the formula for the trajectory of a rocket ship.
