Carrusel de San Ysidro
Installed in a largly rural Hispanic nieghborhood in Albuquerque, NM. The figures in the top tell the story of San Ysidro, the patron Saint of Agriculture. They spin with the wind. The wind moves the rotor in one direction and the figures go in the other direction more slowly. The cast concrete base depicts all the crops grown in the area and the birds, animals and insects found there. 27 feet tall x 14 foot diameter.
